Shop Updates : A How-To Guide

It’s that time again - I have a bunch of new work that I’m excited to release. Here’s what you need to know!

Tip #1

Set yourself a calendar event or a reminder!

Of course there’s no way to know how interested you all are this time around (ha!), but in the past few years, my new work has sold - and sold out - very quickly.

In most cases, pieces are one-of-a-kind, and shop re-stock dates are uncertain these days.

Tip #2

Create an account on my website.

You can set your shipping address + enter payment information ahead of time!

Having this ready makes for fewer clicks between you and your new favorite piece.

Tip #3

Buy the must-have piece right away!

For whatever silly tech-y reason, an item placed in your shopping cart is not officially yours until you complete the checkout.

As a work-around, I invite you to check-out multiple times.

It’s not unusual for me to combine several orders placed by one person. I keep track of what you paid for all of the shipping, and refund the overage once I get your box packed and weighed.

Additional Reminders . . .

I finally have a shop with categories! At the top of the page, you’ll see headings to help you filter right to what you are looking for. (Bowls, Cups + Mugs, Vases, you get the idea.) Or you can click “All” to see everything!

AS YOU SHOP :

As pieces sell, I will move the “sold out” ones off of the shop page. So pieces that are still available will be the ones you can see.

LOCAL PICKUP :

Locals will be able to select “pick-up at Mills Hardware” as their shipping option. It should remove charges. If you want to pick up, but it charged you shipping, please sent me an email (becca@beccapottery.com) with your order number, and I’ll refund shipping and get it ready for pickup.

SHIPPING TIMES :

There is a checkbox in the check-out where you can let me know how quickly you need something shipped. A lot of folks miss it, so don’t worry if you’re in a rush - but please send me an email if you need something shipped right away, or by a certain date.

GIFT ORDERS :

Enter the recipient’s address in the “shipping to” form, and write a message for me to include in your box.
